The Game Plan

Try if before you buy it.

Ever feel hesitant to commit the next 2 years of your life to a group of people you don’t really know?  What if some of them are weird?   I mean REALLY weird.  That’s why all groups begin as a Starter Group

Start•er  Group  [stahr-ter groop]  noun

A Starter Group consists of 5 to 6 couples/individuals gathered together with a common desire for community.  Starter Groups meet weekly in someone’s home to study the Bible and cultivate friendships usually lasting for 8 weeks.

At the end of this time members are encouraged to become a Community Group (see definition below), but are certainly welcome to join another Starter Group.

We realize that not all groups will “click” and feel comfortable together.  If your group isn’t a fit, feel free to try again.

Com•mu•ni•ty Group [kuh-myoo-ni-tee groop]  noun

Community Groups stay together for an additional 12 to 24 months and consist of 5 to 6 couples/individuals who meet weekly in someone’s home for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and accountability.

Community groups are the place where real life and real issues are discussed. This is the environment to celebrate the successes and good times of life and to comfort one another in the tough and disappointing times. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped and challenged to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Once these groups are formed they are closed to new members until the end of the 12 to 24 months.
