From the 30’s through the 50’s Route 66 was considered Main Street USA connecting Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA. with 2450 miles of pavement. Bypassed by newer interstates, Route 66 has become more of a tourist attraction than anything else. Now, people travel Route 66 for, curiosity, nostalgia and rarely out of necessity.

Curiously enough Route 66 and the Bible have some things in common. There are 66 books in the Bible and the people of the 21st century have bypassed the well traveled truths of the Bible in search of a different path. Most modern people spend time reading the Bible out of curiosity and nostalgia but rarely out of necessity. We want to change that in 2007.

It is our goal as a church to make 2007 the year of Bible Route 66, and encourage all who attend Keystone to read through the entire Bible in one year. With just 15-20 minutes a day you can travel the Bible Route 66 from where it begins in the book of Genesis to where it ends in the book of Revelation in just one year.

Below you will find links and information that will help you as you travel through the 66 books of the Bible in 2007.
